Introducing up and coming jewellery label Story of Seven, a perfect marriage of fashion and healing, in perfect harmony with the current consumer changes towards awareness of body, mind and soul, whilst keeping up to date with the latest in fashion trends.
Since its creation in 2012, Story of Seven is quickly becoming well known and well worn by the most fashion savvy to Nuevo hippies alike, both in their local area of Byron Bay and abroad for their unique approach.
Creator Amy Phipps lovingly and skillfully hand makes each mala with her small team in the surf/style mecca of Byron Bay, Australia and each peice is loving created with the wearer’s wellbeing in mind. Carefully chosen semi-precious stones are combined together with sacred Rudraksha beads, hand tolled sterling silver beads and bright brilliant coloured tassels to create a contemporary and unique spin on the traditional prayer bead mala.
The “Rockstar Mala” collection was Story of Seven’s inaugural range and was designed for the up-to-date individual who is in search of an adornment with heart and soul. Since then Story of Seven have also launched the Goddess Mala collection consisting of eight enchanting malas each dedicated to an ancient Goddess, and most recently the Spirit Mala was birthed, with each piece created to support and inspire eight different aspects of our soul.
Mala beads have been used for centuries in India and Tibet for counting mantras and are said to assist in meditation and enlightenment or can be used to deepen a yoga practice and worn as a daily reminder of an intention you are setting and to help bring about what one may be wanting to manifest into their life. Each Story of Seven Mala has a story to tell or symbolic meaning and intention as each piece is hand knotted using a combination of semi precious stones deliberately chosen for their specific healing properties, making them feel alive and powerful to wear.
Undoubtedly the most popular and best selling Mala of the collections is the “Love Mala” created using rose quartz and lava stone to help open the heart and to promote a sense of love in all its forms whilst the “Grounding Mala” is made using Dalmation Jasper and lava and will assist in calming the nerves and providing a sense of groundedness to the wearer.
These precious pieces have been crafted to be either a cutting edge fashion adornment to some, a healing piece worn with intention to others or a combination of both, which has lead Story of Seven to have the dedicated following and a wide range of clientele that they have today.
