Chocolates by Ryan L Foote has launched three 3D-printed collections — inspired by Australian native botanicals and Hong Kong local foods and desserts. There will also be a vegan-friendly Single Origin collection with chocolates grown in the Asia Pacific region (Indonesia, The Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu etc). The artist has spent the past two years living between Australia and Hong Kong, and his chocolate collections reflect his love for the two cultures.
In the Australian collection, there are flavours like avocado smash, white chocolate and wattleseed, lemon myrtle caramel, cinnamon myrtle with manuka honey and macadamia nut, quandong, peach and finger lime cream, and chocolate with mountain pepperberry. The Hong Kong collection includes egg tart, buttery pineapple bun, red bean dark chocolate ganache, salted coconut tart, milk tea and even preserved three-year-old mandarin rind flavours.
The chocolates’ unusual contemporary design takes inspiration from architecture, geological formations and natural minerals. Alongside the chocolates are 3D-printed porcelain cups and crystalline-glazed plates that have also been designed by Foote.
The signature chocolates and the ceramic range are available for online orders.
