The latest addition to the toolbox collection from Japan’s Classiky brand is bound to be a crafter’s heirloom.
The Sewing Box is handmade from chestnut wood, featuring dovetailed corners, two tray inserts and handles for carrying.
“Classiky (or Kurashiki as it’s pronounced) is an artisan design studio in Japan which has followers around the world. We have their small and mid-sized toolboxes. This one is a beautiful addition to the range, perfect for sewists and knitters who need a bit more space to house their materials” said Nicole McCarthy, owner of Hands On Workshop, online retailer of Japanese craft kits, tools and accessories.
“Many sewing boxes are quite “girly” whereas this has such clean modern styling it can proudly sit in a lounge room or study as a display piece in it’s own right.”.
In a rectangular wood design with two ‘layers’, it can easily be adapted for other uses – housing all those pens, pencils and knick knacks that hang around your hobby or study zone.
The Sewing Box is the new addition to HOW’s Classiky range – craft and papercraft accessories, and Kata Kata designed ceramics.
