What are the defects?

Some vehicles may be manufactured with incorrect electrical wiring to the accelerator pedal position sensor. This results in an incorrect sensor voltage to the vehicle control module which may cause unintended vehicle acceleration.

What are the hazards?

Unintended vehicle acceleration may lead to a loss of control which could result in an accident and may cause personal injury to the occupant of the vehicle.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should not operate their vehicle until recall work is performed by an authorised Polaris dealer.

Polaris is currently evaluating a comprehensive repair and is targeting availability to Polaris dealers in mid-February.

At the time of availability, Polaris will contact affected owners via direct mail to arrange an inspection and repairs if required, free of charge.
