John Deere expands its compact construction equipment footprint with selected Ag & Turf dealers.

John Deere Marketing and Sales Manager, Steve Wright, said it made sense this range of high-quality machines, that are ideally suited to primary production, was now available to even more farmers and fencers in rural and regional centres.

“We understand agribusinesses and that a wide variety of tools are used by farmers to perform the diverse range of functions required within their operations,” Mr Wright said.

“Our line-up of Compact Construction Equipment, including excavators and Skid Steers, provides practical technology to help those in the farm and turf sectors achieve those important on-farm gains, and perfectly complements the existing machinery they’re already using in their paddocks.

“That’s why it makes sense to offer the range at selected John Deere Ag & Turf dealerships across the nation.”

Like all John Deere equipment, innovation takes pride of place in the Compact Construction Equipment line with state-of-the-art enhancements such as flexible control choices, programmable performance settings, rearview camera, hydraulic self-levelling and ride control.

“We’re delighted our Ag & Turf customers will now be able to see for themselves the quality and innovation that goes into these small but high-performing machines at their local dealer,” Mr Wright said.

The Compact Construction Equipment range can now be found at Vanderfield in Queensland, Hutcheon & Pearce and Land HQ in New South Wales, Cervus Equipment in Victoria and Emmetts in South Australia.

In addition to these five new dealers, Compact Construction Equipment is also available at all 12 RDO Equipment locations on the east coast and five AFGRI Equipment locations in Western Australia.

The John Deere Skid Steer family runs deep with various models and series debuting over the last 50 years, beginning with the JD24 in 1970, then a second Industrial Model 14 Skid Steer, and two agricultural Skid Steer models 70/170 (1975), the 60/90/125 (1979), 75-Series (1987), 75-Series II (1994), 200 Series (1998), 200 Series II (2001), 300 Series Skid Steers and compact track loaders (2004), D-Series Skid Steers and compact track loaders (2009), E-Series Skid Steers and compact track loaders (2013), and the latest, G-Series Skid Steers and compact track loader models (2016/2018).

In celebration of the 50th year of being in the Skid Steer loader business, customers who purchase a Skid Steer loader built between March 1 through December 31, 2020, will receive a special decal on the machine.
