Tradepack ticking all the right boxes
Posted on March 28, 2017 by

Isuzu’s Ready to Work range goes above and beyond to cater for tradies in every application.

These trucks are compact and nimble, with the short wheel base models providing a tighter turning circle than many utilities, and they’ve been specifically designed to fit comfortably into any standard driveway or parking space.

The Isuzu NPR 55-155 Short Wheel Base Premium Tradepack has all of this agility, while still offering the power and performance customers expect from Australia’s highest selling light-duty truck.

It’s a one-stop shop for every tradie, with removable drop-sides and rear tailgate on a heavy-duty aluminum tray, along with a genuine Isuzu bullbar and 3,500 kg rated tow bar.

With a 5,500 kg GVM, putting out 114 kW of power @ 2,600 rpm, the Tradepack can handle the biggest loads and roughest terrain with ease.

The NPR 45-155 model is also available, which offers a 4,500 kg GVM yet can be driven on a car licence, and medium wheel base models in both 45-155 and 55-155 models provide still more choice.

Isuzu’s six-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) can provide substantial savings on fuel and is ideal for a range of road conditions. In addition, the independent front coil suspension provides car-like handling.

The Premium Tradepack features a foldaway access step, underbody-mounted 23 litre water tank, and cruise control – making it a flexible workhorse you can park in your driveway.

The Ready to Work range offers supreme strength and capability.

Isuzu developed the range with the ambitious tradie in mind. All of the 4,500 kg GVM models can be driven on a car license, offering business owners maximum flexibility among their potential driving workforce.

All 12 trucks in the Ready to Work range come complete with factory fitted bodies covered under the Isuzu warranty. This cuts out the hassle of waiting for a body-builder, getting you on the road as soon as possible.

Safety is a top priority for Isuzu, so the Tradepack comes ready-equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulator (ASR) traction control and Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC).

IESC goes the extra mile to give you assurance on the road, automatically adjusting your brakes if the wheels begin to slip in rough weather.

IAL Chief Engineer Simon Humphries says Isuzu was conscious of the advantages short wheel base dimensions would bring tradespeople when designing the range.

“Although every feature of the Ready to Work range has been crafted for optimal form and function, the short wheel base is a real game-changer for tradies who’ve outgrown their traditional utility vehicles, but still want the ease of driving and parking,” Mr Humphries said.

“It offers much more flexibility for tradespeople who work in residential and commercial areas. It’s about instilling the confidence when driving into a driveway or commercial car park that you can park safely and legally.”

Isuzu’s Ready to Work range provides the ultimate truck for anyone who needs a big payload and towing capacity, in a conveniently-sized package.

“The range is a real turning point in the light-duty market, with enough options to cater to every application imaginable,” Mr Humphries said.

“And the best part is, they can be driven from the dealership to the worksite. Then you take them home and into the driveway at the end of the day.”

The Isuzu Ready to Work range are truck models specified and conveniently pre-bodied to cater to key trade, transport and materials handling applications.

All models feature Isuzu factory backed bodies with tray, van, service-body and tipper applications covered.

Isuzu Ready to Work models can be driven straight from the dealer showroom to the worksite (once registered and insured), and with no time required for body build.

With models ranging from the 4,500 GVM Traypack, Tradepack and Tipper through to the FRR 107-210 Tipper, Isuzu Ready to Work trucks offer turn-key solutions for vital trade and transport applications.
